Sumit stores game progress in your browser. If you sign in, we also store your email address, account identifier, login sessions, puzzle attempts, completion times, and streak data so your progress can sync across devices.

Service providers

We use DigitalOcean to host the service and Resend to deliver sign-in emails. These providers process the minimum information required to provide those services. Standard security and access logs may include IP addresses and browser details.

Product events

Sumit records a small allow-list of product events, such as opening or solving a puzzle. Event records do not include email addresses, formulas, or authentication tokens. Browser Do Not Track is respected.

Retention and your choices

Operational logs and login challenges are retained only as needed to operate and secure the service. Signed-in users can delete their account and synced progress from the account screen. You may also request access or deletion by emailing admin@playsumit.io.
